Dr. Daniel is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He began his professional journey by earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Universiti Malaya in 2008. Following his graduation, he served as a dental officer for the Ministry of Health until 2012. During this period, he focused primarily on clinical work at the Hospital Sultanah Aminah in Johor Bahru.
Academic Leadership and Excellence Driven by a passion for advanced surgery, he later returned to the University of Malaya. He completed his Master of Clinical Dentistry in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with distinction in 2016. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor within the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Clinical Sciences. In this role, he provides vital supervision for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Furthermore, he was appointed as the Head of Department for both the Faculty of Dentistry and the University of Malaya Medical Centre in January 2025.

In addition to his clinical duties, he is a dedicated educator who frequently conducts lectures and courses. For instance, he specializes in teaching dental implants and minor oral surgery. Currently, he also serves as the Course Director and Key Opinion Leader for Osstem Implant Malaysia.
